Indians in Belgium

Landlords may be racist against Indian nationals renting in Belgium.   This is more common outside of Brussels.  Belgian landlords are afraid than Indian cooking will infuse the property with food smells that will remain even after the end of the tenancy.  In Bruges, Indian tenants are often asked to pay a higher rent which covers compulsory weekly cleaning of the property to try and prevent this.
